Smith Estate - Raleigh, NC
This approximately 200 acre "infill" project, located within walking distance of Crabtree Valley Mall in Raleigh, was planned for the Smith Heirs using extensive public input from the surrounding property owners and the NE Citizens Advisory Committee. Compatible adjacent land uses and buffers were placed on the project perimeter and helped the project receive an easy consensus from the neighborhood CAC and the City Staff. Based on the conclusions from a detailed Traffic Impact Analysis, the plan included more than 50 acres of Office & Institutional uses including a LifeCare Center. Single Family residential lots and Multi-Family "starter" homes were included along with a 150 unit Apartment Project.
